In this instalment of Bank of Ireland’s professional information series, the focus is on Risk, its evolving role within financial services, future direction and what you need to know to grow your career in Risk.

Welcoming professionals with backgrounds in Compliance, Regulatory and Conduct Risk, Bank of Ireland’s Group Head of Compliance and Regulatory Risk, Mairead Devine will deliver the opening presentation. This will set the scene of the current function and future of Risk in Bank of Ireland.

A guest speaker, Dr Finbarr Murphy,BA, hDip, MSc, EdD, QFA,  Director of Education & Professional Development from the ACOI, will then share his insights on the role education plays in the dynamic nature of Risk in financial services.

Following this a panel of Bank of Ireland professionals will discuss their experiences and expertise in Group Compliance and Regulatory Risk, the role it plays in Bank of Ireland and how to progress in this profession.
