Purpose of the Role

The analyst position provides a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic analytics unit. The successful candidate will be involved in developing and delivering management MI for our credit portfolios, addressing ad hoc analytical requests as they arise and interacting with relevant business units. The role will offer development and progression opportunities to enhance and broaden business knowledge, reporting and analytical skills and competencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce timely, accurate and comprehensive MI reporting suite and respond to subsequent actions for further investigation and analysis.
  • Develop an understanding of the Retail Credit portfolios and the metrics used to monitor their credit risk performance.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for analytics from various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new reports in an efficient and flexible production environment.

Essential Qualification

  • Third Level qualification in business, finance or economics, preferably including a mathematics or analytics element.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver and achieve results within demanding timescales.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Strong computer skills: Word/Excel/PowerPoint and experience of, or willingness to learn, SAS.
