Responsible for managing the insurance book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Director of Marketing & Customer Management to manage income targets, pricing and recommendations for change.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business providers to enhance opportunities to increase income.
  • Develop key metrics and analysis to demonstrate all aspects of book performance, variances against targets and underlying trends.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing & Customer Management to raise awareness of opportunities, issues and ensure that insurance is an integral part of the BOI UK customer proposition.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with existing insurance providers, review performance and manage day to day requirements and issues.
  • Proactively manage all aspects of the general insurance books to ensure compliance with Conduct Risk requirements.
  • Understand in detail all issues relating to general insurance regulation, identifying and reporting upon any areas of risk to the business.
  • Maintain BOI product documentation, website and customer facing material and ensure compliance with general insurance regulation.
  • Establish credibility by building a positive profile, both internally and externally.
  • Identify cross sale opportunity with existing mortgage customers.
  • Working with stakeholders, reviewing all available customer and staff feedback, and business performance metrics to identify opportunities
  • Prepare relevant reporting, documents and presentations (Microsoft Office) to a high standard to be used to inform management decisions, training and briefings

5 GCSE`s Grade A-C or equivalent - Group standard

Experience

  • Demonstrable track record and experience of working within the general insurance market with experience
  • Graduate calibre and preferably ACII qualified
  • Good knowledge across the general insurance market and the financial services industry
  • Strong self-management, organisational and customer service skills
  • Demonstrable relationship management experience
  • Experience or in-depth understanding of the Mortgages and Life Assurance market preferable
  • Confident and enthusiastic
