While customer experience and technology continue to evolve, the payments landscape is also changing. Our ability to clearly articulate our own strategic direction from a payments perspective, with the appropriate technology to enable this, is critical to the strategy of the organisation overall.

Group payments SP&I will be responsible for the future planning of our Payments strategy and roadmap.

Working in partnership with the business, SP&I team will play a key role in planning of how to operationalise the future payments strategy within the bank, taking into consideration the development and implementation of our new core banking and payments (including card processing) IT infrastructure, and upcoming regulation (e.g. PSD2).

The Business Implementation Manager will work in the project management team to help develop and implement standardised PM practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce formal project management to the project
  • Weekly reporting to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Design, consolidate and integrate project plans
  • Ensuring formal project management governance is adhered to
  • Mobilize project teams within project to support the implementation of requirements from business
  • Manage deadlines and co-ordinate team , both internal and external, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of initiatives
  • Ability to manage a number of competing priorities and projects at the same time
  • Ability to operate and deliver in large Programme Structure

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant 3rd Level Qualification

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years Project Management experience
  • Strong organisational ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skils
  • Proven experience in project deliveryunder challenging targets
  • Strong stakeholder/relationship building skills, Business understanding and commercial acumen
